Father Jonathan Morris has begun the process of requesting laicisation. He is requesting from Pope Francis a release from the clerical state, but it is not known how long the process will take before his in no longer a priest of the Church.
Fr Morris was a very visible face of the Catholic Church appearing on Fox News and other media outlets in the USA.
I pray that once he is released from his vows by the Pope that Jonathan Morris will find both peace and joy in his life as a Catholic layman. I hope we will all keep him in our prayers.
