LMIGHTIE and everlastyng God, we humbly beseech thy Majesty, that as thy only begotten Son was this day presented in the Temple in the substance of the flesh of the Virgin Mary his Mother : so grant that we may be presented unto thee with pure hearts and cleare minds, by Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Almighty and ever-living God, we humbly beseech thy Majesty, that, as thy only begotten son was this day presented in the Temple, in substance of our flesh, so we may be presented unto thee with pure and clean hearts, by thy son Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever. Amen.
Almighty Father,
whose Son Jesus Christ was presented in the Temple
and acclaimed the glory of Israel
and the light of the nations:
grant that in him we may be presented to you
and in the world may reflect his glory;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Almighty and everliving God, we humbly beseech thee that, as thy only-begotten Son was this day presented in the temple, so we may be presented to you with pure and clean hearts by the same Jesus Christ our Lord; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
