Precious Blood Church given to OLW Ordinariate

J+M+J
Epiphany Saturday

It was a joy to learn that a rumour has become a fact.  The Catholic Church of the Precious Blood in London was under the care of the Salvatorians and for about a year an Ordinariate congregation has met there.  With the Salvatorian's departure the local bishop has placed the parish in the hands of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.  It is excellent news to hear that the Ordinariate in England is finally gaining parishes of their own.  One cannot underestimate how important a matter this is in the formation of identity and in the work of evangelisation.
